Jo Birchall
In our group we decided the last idea would be too hard to film since we have very expensive cameras and we dont want them stolen. Instead we've found a real artist called Jo Birchall, who is willing to come in for the video shoot. She is a pop singer in her mid 30's so the video will have to be very different from our other two ideas. We are thinking of doing something old fashioned, perhaps from the 60's because the song we've chosen reminds us of jazzclub music.
second idea.
We felt like we were going nowhere with the arctic monkey's track "r u mine" so we decided to scrap that idea and use the Kasabian song switchblade smiles.
We want this to be a dynamic video of youths out on the street. Our idea is to have about 6 kids under the age of 18 going round town graffiting and then running away from the cops. At the end there will be a twist as the graffiti is unveiled, and it proves to be a fine piece of art. This video will attempt to get the audience to sympathise with these youths and see that not all of them are just thugs.

More ideas
Our group has brainstormed some more ideas to the song "r u mine". I came up with the idea of having three main shot locations in the video. One of these shots could be in a bedroom where a boyfriend and girlfriend are having a fight, one in the studio where the performance element is being filmed, and one where the boyfriend is walking down the street after the fight. With this shot we want to recreate the same feel as bittersweet symphony.

My initial ideas
For my first idea I was thinking of making a music video to the arctic monkeys song "R u mine". The lyrics to this song are very deep and could be about memories of someone. This is why I think the theme of the music video should be him looking back at a time he was happy and with the girl he loves. This can be done by someone looking at old pictures of him and his girlfriend, and then the camera will zoom into the picture till it fills the screen. Then the picture will come to life but the girlfriend will fade away. This will show that he is reminiscing over the times he had with her but then is brought back to reality when she fades away. There will also be a performance element in this video will be shown during the chorus of the song.
